Client: Eurest Services is member of the UK-based COMPASS Group. Eurest provides food and support services. In China, one of their key businesses is providing food to the cafeterias of international schools.
Project: Eurest had been delivering high quality food services for many years at a number of schools throughout China. At this stage of their development they needed a consistent and engaging brand image to foster brand loyalty among students and parents as well as faculty and staff at the international schools in order to maintain their competitive edge.
Solution: Labbrand creative team designed a number of visual identity applications for use in the school cafeterias. The development of creative routes started from the original Eurest logo and corporate colours. Colourful pictures of a variety of foods and the style of children’s drawings inspired supporting colours, graphics, and typeface. As the end consumers are school age children, the visual identity needed to appear playful, colorful and light, but at the same time modern and professional to appeal to teachers and parents.
Logos were then created for each food serving area (eg. Italian food area , Asian food area, Sandwich Bar, etc.). Applications such as menu boards, wall decorations for school cafeterias, posters, signs, and a map of the canteen were developed to ensure consistency across all brand touchpoints. Labbrand also provided detailed specifications for the printing and production of these items to enable smooth implementation in the facilities. With a lively and unified visual identity applied throughout the cafeterias, the Eurest brand is sure to build positive perceptions with their key audiences in the years to come.
